I am an entrepreneur and attorney with programming, testing and product development experience. I began my IT career as a research assistant developing CAD models for the Aerodynamics department at the Technical University of Darmstadt and later as a research assistant for Fraunhofer Institute and the Computer Graphics Center (ZGDV) also in Darmstadt, Germany. I then managed the international division of AIL Taiwan, a hardware distribution company. Upon returning to the US, I joined AOL as the liaison for the Mac Japan and Mac Germany QA teams and oversaw international client side Mac testing at AOL headquarters in Dulles, VA. I then joined the AOL Personal Finance Channel as product manager where I was responsible for coordinating development teams located in California, Virginia and Dublin Ireland. After moving to Memphis, I finished my law degree at the University of Memphis and began working as the vice president of a Washington D.C. based wireless broadband startup. I currently have my own practice and am cofounder of LaunchMemphis and Fuelfilm, both organizations focusing on stimulating the Memphis economy. I have a B.A. from Virginia Tech, an MS in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University and a JD from Catholic University.
